Supernatural-"Hollywood Babylon" 4/19/07

Spoiler:
While on vacation, Sam and Dean discover that a group of ghosts are attempting to shut down production of a movie that they feel is mocking them.

This is going to be awesome, I am hoping for another good episode with plenty of laughs as well.

Decent episode. Dean was cracking me up throughout with the Z-grade movie knowledge and eating all the free food.

I absolutely love the show's personality and that it can have fun, yet still deliver a good story.

Craptastic... I forgot this was new this week. Ugh. Guess I'll have to find it on the internet.

I heard that this show is "on the bubble" and might be canceled... I hope not

^ If it is, that news + no Mars = nothing left on CW to watch.

Good change-of-pace episode. I loved all the real people playing themselves. I guess PAs now have a super hero -- Dean was almost Bruce (Campbell)-worthy!

New episode of V-Mars next week.

Loved the references to Gilmore Girls (the look on Padalecki's face was hilarious), Canadian weather and how the Boogeyman script sucked (it was written by show creator Eric Kripke). A decent change of pace and really liked how Dean did so well as a PA, enjoyed the food and fucked the lead actress!

This episode was fantastic. Everything about it just hit right. I loved it.

God, I was worried about this show being canned, but after that episode, now I am downright paranoid. I don't want to lose this show damn it.

If the season finishes strong in the ratings, we will see season 3 of Supernatural. Last nights ratings were pretty good, around 3.5 million I believe.

I'm not a big horror buff so I'm sure some of the cameos and references went over my head, but it was still a good episode. It was a really good episode for Dean.

I take it the lead actress wasn't playing herself? When Dean mentioned Fear.com and Ghost Ship I thought perhaps she was, even though I didn't recognize her. I have little memory of Ghost Ship and didn't see Fear.com. Showing the trailer rocking was a little crass. I think the scene would have worked better without that shot, just having dean step out a bit disheveled.

I think the trailer rocking was yet another "in joke" reference, because I imagine that happens a lot on movie sets.

Well not to mention McG was the director (shows executive producer) and in the trailer the go so far as to say "from the director of Charlie's Angels and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle". Nice touch... even if the actor playing McG was the arsonist on Halfway Home.

DJariya - thanks for the tip! It actually had fewer commercials online that I'd have had to skip through!

I love this show and truly hope that it does not get cancelled. This is one of very few shows I actually look forward to each week. If CW cancels this show what's left? Non-stop airing of Next Top Model and Pussycat Dolls? blech!

I'm hoping we'll see both seasons on HD-DVD by the end of the year.

So far the WB has only released Smallville S5 (on HD-DVD) with no new HDTV announcements for either HD or Blu.
