Chloe story wasn't great but at least we found out what happened with Lana.
Sheesh, Lex, tricking your own girlfriend into thinking she was pregnant just to have her marry you - could you be any more desperate and sad?

The Moira Sullivan bit was okay, but nothing particularly new in terms of people controlling others. But at least it completed the Sullivans' background.
Clark's delayed reaction as the projectile was heading towards Lex was a nice touch, since it played into the earlier episode of his conscience of handling someone's fate.
Good revelation at the end... more sinister Lex, please!

So Lynda Carter was stuck in scrubs for most of her scenes? What a waste.
Overall, Lex's 33.1 endeavors continue to keep him on the path of scheming and deceiving, he's really getting evil-er every episode.

Can Lex get any more evil? Threatening Chloe after earlier in the episode he said he admired her. The war is about to begin, as Clark said, and I can't wait. The season finale should be insane, with next season being full blown Clark v. Lex.

Re: Chloe's mom. Why was she catotonic? Did they ever explain it? I assumed they gave her drugs that made her that way, but then they said Lex gave her drugs to bring her out of it. That whole supposed-to-be-emotional scene was confusing for that reason.

Didn't they mention something in an earlier season about mental illness running in the family for Sullivan women? I think it was that episode where they had a Dr. Crane-like guy working for Lex where they made a Krypto-drug that made everyone see there worst fears, and Chloe's was ending up crazy and catatonic in an insane asylum like her mom.
Although now that I think about it, her mom did say that she went into the looney bin because she accidentally made Chloe hurt herself, so who knows.
