Is this going to be rereleased? Does anybody know anything?

Don't know, but I've seen a few copies at the Gamestop clearance. I've also noticed the prices aren't too high on ebay currently.

It would certainly be nice to get a digipak upgrade (especially seeing as my existing copy is in kinda crap condition, I got it used), but there's not really anything to add except a cool package and to get it back out there. I doubt this makes it a high priority for Fox.

I think we were really lucky to ever get this in the first place. I've seen it around at used shops and on ebay and the prices have been reasonable. If you are a fan, I highly recommend picking it up!

It includes possibly my favorite extra of all time: screen caps of the Commodore 64 "Big Trouble in Little China" game! And the worst extra of all time: the music video of the theme song... John Carpenter's low point in music : )

I love this movie. Carpenter is a king fish.

Personally, I'd rather get a keepcase upgrade (from the current fat double Alpha to a standard slim-double Amaray) like they did with M*A*S*H, Speed or The French Connection. No thanks on another crappy cardboard digipak.

I have always been amazed at how many times fox has released and rereleased the other original group of five star collections ( Speed, ID4, Die hard, The Aybss etc.) But this one always missed the cut.

I know that the case doesn't say five star on it, but it's always been referenced as one.

Strange...

First the best buy exclusive digipak collectors line.
Then when the line went to other stores
Some of the titles received a non digipak collectors edition
Now the 3d and steelbook rereleases.

No sign of a rerelease of this film. Though the one disc recently hit the 5 dollar bins. Maybe thats a good sign?

ID4 has been released like 10 times!
