Wario Ware (Wii) Dancing Boss Stage Question

I'm stuck on the stage of WarioWare where you have to do the dancing for the boss stage. I have tried it about 10 times and gave up. I'm doing exactly what it's telling me. I do the 3 or 4 smacks on the leg but every time I put my arm out it's acting like I'm not doing it..

Any tips?

Thanks!

I played this with two other friends and we had problems. I do not remember what our trouble was, but I think it was timing. After each of us doing it about three times, one of us finally got it.

Glad to see it's not just me.. It just sucks doing all 17 tasks over and over to get to that point...

I had that problem too. Took me like 20 times to get it. I think what you have to do is like a full motion after the guy in front of you stops, then you stop. This level pissed me off to the point where i just got rid of the game.

I would suggest trying to complete it on the practice mode. Some of the mini games have sensitive controls and take practice figuring out the right motion to complete. When playing try to make you motions tight and compact as opposed to over exaggerating them I found this to work better.

I couldn't beat that screen trying it 20 times...my wife tries once, and gets it. Oh well.
Yeah, if I had bought it, this one would have really irked me, but as long as someone beat it, multiplayer was opened up (which is a slight pet peeve, it's annoying having to complete the whole game to open up multiplayer).

you need to keep moving the wiimote like you are marching just like the characters on screen. As soon as I kept moving, I was able to complete it.

As previously mentioned, it's quite easy if you constantly swing your ams like the characters on screen.
