Anyone planning on watching this?

I think it has good potential but I got burned on Day Break so I'm a little leary starting another serialized brand new show...

Remember, FOX is only airing the 1st 6 episodes, 5 if you count the 2-hour premiere. Then it's going on hiatus until most likely Fall or late summer. I believe that Steven Spielberg/Mark Burnett show "On the Lot" is eventually taking it's slot for the summer.

I'll bite. I mean, it's got Malcolm Reynolds for crying out loud.

I think I might just Tivo these up and watch them if/when I find out we're getting a whole season. I should've done that w/Day Break and I really didn't like watching the last 6 or so eps. on my computer (though I'm glad that was at least made available).

It looks like something I would watch, but I am very wary of these serial-type shows as the lame-ass networks never give them the chance to gain an audience if they are not an immediate hit. Imagine if NBC would have done that with Seinfeld.

I know FOX only ordered 13 episodes for season 1, so the question will be whether or not the 1st 6 episodes do well enough for the remaining 7 to make air. Monday's at 8pm are going to be tough though...It's up against Dancing with the Stars and the CBS sitcoms.

I will be watching, likely from tivo, for Nathan because I love him. However, I know exactly how it is all going to play out. I will like the show, and Fox will cancel it right after the best episode. There's no question about it.

I'll give it a shot. The previews look a bit chessy, but I hope that it was just bad advertising.

FOX = no sale

Those bastards cancel all of the greatest shows on TV. I'll wait for the eventual DVD, after they cancel it midseason.

While I hate that they haven't released The Inside on DVD and fear the same will take place with this one, Tim Minear's name on the project gets it in front of my eyeballs.

I'll be using the DVR for it. I think it looks good, has great potential but fear that it will bite the dust, but eventually ending up on DVD.

It took a while to really get going for me, but once it did, I really liked it. Nathan Fillion steals the show and is by far the most interesting character on the show. It's got some great driving action (as any show titled 'Drive' should) and seems like they have a pretty cool concept here...however I don't know if it could last past an initial season, without a major cast overhaul...The race has to eventually end at some point.

I hope it does well enough in the rating to at least get a full season. It's a decent action show and should fill the void that Prison Break's early end has left on Fox. Not the greatest show ever or anything, but Tim Minear knows hot to make just about anything entertaining...there is some good characters, interesting scenarios and sharp dialogue. Please watch this show.

MATT

If it has got Fillion in it, I'll watch it. The guy's got screen presence like none other in the TV world. One thing's for sure, people can't blame the lack of promotion if this show fails. I don't think I've seen so many ads for a particular show before.

Nathan Fillion is so good, he should guest star on any show that might be cancelled just to boost the ratings.

Also, I want this show to fail so that Fillion can be cast as Han Solo in the new Star Wars tv show.

I"m honestly shocked that Tim Minear and Nathan Fillion are giving Fox another shot at them like this. I love Mal, but this looks cheesy has hell and I'm nearly certain it won't make it thru the season.

Wasn't sure I was going to check it out until I found out Nathan Fillion and Tim Minear were involved - then I definitely decided it would be worth seeing. Hell, I'd watch Fillion in just about anything. I also seem to recall hearing somewhere else that another Whedonverse alumni - Amy Acker (Fred from Angel) - is supposed to be on the show, too. That'll just add one more reason to tune in.
