The level of coincidences in how people know one another is just getting absurd with this show, and yet, it's still watchable.

It took me a while to notice that Probie from Rescue Me is the old ex-boyfriend for Shiri Appleby's character.

I was a little worried at the previews, but I think they turned out a solid episode. Reminds me more and more of What About Brian (same production company), but in a good way ;-P

One thing that has worked out well is the whole Six Degrees coincidence mechanic. I didn't care for it all in the beginning, but I think the writers are starting to have fun with it instead of worrying about whether it makes sense or not. There must have been a good dozen moments where characters crossed paths in often funny moments, often without even knowing the other person was there.

I really like this show. I do have a small problem getting invested in a lame duck show though. How many more episodes do they have to burn off?
