For some reason I thought that was the Jason Bateman sit com at first....but that was It's Your Move. Silver Spoons should find a good audience on DVD, but I wish they would get It's Your Move on DVD!

Could someone hum a few lines of the theme? I was trying to think of it the other day and could not.

I thought of it because "Ricky" Schroder has been on 24. Anyone know why it is again Ricky and not Rick like on NYPD Blue?

I really hope they don't use syndication prints. On Comcast OnDemand they've had Silver Spoons available for a while and they were extremely short, some hovering around the 20 minute mart

I saw the Larry King interview with the 24 cast a while back, Ricky simply prefers to be called Ricky rather than just Rick.

This hasn't aged well, but it's a fun dose of 80s cheese. Plus, you'll never hear me complain about getting more Erin Gray on DVD.

Jason Bateman played Derek, Ricky Schroder's tormentor on "Silver Spoons." That part landed him his own series, "It's Your Move."

Ohhhh, yeah, that's right! Thanks for reminding me! Well, maybe there's hope for It's Your Move after this release!

I would have expected the DVD cover to show the mansion on the cover. Don't care much for the cover they used.

I remember this show when it first aire; it was one of my favorites at the time.

I'll probably pick up this and Family Ties before too long. I'm glad they are starting to release these. Now I'm waiting for The Hogan (Vallerie's) Family to be announced...

Yeah, I just hope they continue to put of the subsequent seasons of these 80's shows though. Still waiting for more Gimme A Break and Kate & Allie ones. Looks like those were abandoned like Who's The Boss and Diff'rent Strokes.

I had a serious crush on her when she was on "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century"

She still looks good as she was in some brand new Hallmark made for TV movie this past weekend.
