Black X-mas released this week?

Hello All, I saw a commercial over the past weekend for the Black X-mas remake. The commercial stated available this Tuesday (today), does anyone know if it was released today? Amazon.com states release date 4/3....

even though I've heard it's a trainwreck of a movie, I would be curious to see and hear about the cutting of the film since alot was filmed, refilmed, cut. restored.

I see in another thread there was substantial differences between the US and UK versions of this film.

Does anybody know what they are? I see lots of clips on youtube but only want to see the differences.

Also, what is different between the unrated and rated versions?

I just picked this up last night even with the bad reviews, just wanted it to go with my original version, and another Holiday Horror movie.

A different death for the character played by
Spoiler:
Michelle Trachtenberg. In the UK version her eye gets ripped out and she is dragged down the hallway by her eye socket. The US version has her running into a room and stupidly standing at the window trying to open it for about 30 seconds, so the killer throws an ice skate at her and CHOPS OFF the back of her head!?

Also, the endings are different, and the UK version may have more blood. I also read that the phone calls that the killer makes are different in the UK version.

Also, the ending may be different.

Thanks I assume these different parts are the deleted and alternate scenes on the unrated version. I haven't watched them yet so I'm not sure though.

I watched the film last night and couldn't believe how terrible it was. I mean it was unbearable. Plus how do you do a terrible movie like that and at least not have some flesh in it to try to redeem it a little? I'm truly amazed, I think I prefer the terrible Fog remake over this thing, which is saying something.
