HALO 3: Brutes documentary

If you have Comcast cable, check out the 10 minute Halo 3 documentary (On Demand). They've really beefed up the Brutes, and you get to see some cool in-game footage. Dual sword weilding in Halo 3, YES!!! They also have a new engine, and the physics in the game are supposed to be dead-on. Pretty interesting segment, and it appears there may be more to come.

Wonder if this is available on Marketplace as well; I'd assume it is.

I didn't see it on Marketplace. It's in the G4 section of on demand.

This was on Marketplace a couple months ago. A pretty good strategy to admit that the Brutes sucked in part 2 and announce that they are going to be completely overhauled a year before release. I like how they can knock over vehicles, have team attacks and can literally rip you apart limb by limb. I keep picturing a retreating grunt being grabbed by the neck by one of these guys and tossed back at you!

I watched the one on Marketplace a couple of months ago and something was mentioned that I wanted to ask about. I don't think this is a spoiler, since it was in the documentary, but just in case...

Spoiler:
They made reference to the Elites no longer being in the Covenant. Did I forget an important plot point from Halo 2? No more Elites?

Yes, that was pretty much the whole plot of Halo2...

Agreed. The Arbiter(playable Elite), Elite race of aliens, and several other Covenant aliens started rebellion. The Brutes were bogartin' the power and makin' trouble...

I hear so many complain about how much they hate the HALO/HALO 2 storyline and how it's weak but I think it's great. I can't wait for the conclusion in 3.

I guess I didn't retain much of the Halo 2 plot.

This is also why I can watch a movie again 6 months after I first see it.
