Any word on a "We Are Marshall" DVD release..?
A little suprised this hasn't been announced yet. It came out at the end of December and already movies that were released around that time and afterwards are coming to dvd soon or their already out. I told a freind of mine they'll probably wait until August when football season starts again to release it. Just wondering. Thanks in advance.

Holy crap, I didn't even know it was released in theaters. I was waiting for it. Guess I gotta wait for the disc now. Videoeta lists it as coming out on DVD on 9/7. They're generally right about dates, but hopefully they're wrong this time.

When ever Christmas comes around, Best Buy and whoever always have their holiday movies prominently displayed. So they get those spur of the momenet sales too. I don't know if the same effect is true for football, but if releasing the movie near football season had any impact, I'm sure they would set up a display then too.
Plus, I'd think get several million dollars half a year early would just make good business sense. It's a simple time-value of money concept.

Thats such a long ways away, but hopefully we will get a great dvd with in depth extras. Possibly some commentaries, interviews, or behind the scenes making of footage with the people who lived through the tragedy. BTW how does The Nativity Story(A christmas movie) get released today, but we have to wait another six months for We Are Marshall?
