I seriously thought this was a rerun. Oh well, I'm sure it will be about as good as the last time, which was not very.

I don't care how old she is, but I'd hit Julia Louis Dreyfus seven ways to Sunday.

Hard time finding guest hosts?

JLD was mediocre last time.

She didn't need Seinfeld money DAMN!

Actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus surprisingly does hold her own on the list. The New York native is a daughter of a French billionaire Gerard Louis-Dreyfus who runs Louis-Dreyfus Group, a successful investment firm on the two continents in New York and Paris. Julia’s full name is posh Julia Elizabeth Scarlett Louis-Dreyfus and even though her parents divorced when she was only one and half years old, she always remained father’s favorite child (he has four others to take care for). On the heals of recent Emmy nomination and the syndication bonus salaries all the Seinfeld cast has received, Julia’s inheritance and net value could add up to nearly $600 million, making her second richest woman in entertainment behind Oprah Winfrey.

i like 'the new adventures of old christine' but i still hate JLD. she sucked the first time and as im watching it now-she still sucks. i thought this was a rerun as well-they should let Donald Fasion or John C. McGinley from 'Scrubs' host, hell they let Rainn Wilson host from 'the office' so why not?
JLD to me isn't a funny person, she is less annoying now then she was on seinfeld (i hate that show) and she looks better now to me then she did 10 years ago.

I LIKE Julia Louis-Dreyfus (she was great last year)! I HATE tonite's material!!

Every sketch is falling flat, especially WU - Seth still does not know how to deliver.

JLD is hot, but these sketches blow.

I watched the first half hour and fell asleep, but I had the foresight to record it so I'll watch the rest tomorrow. So far, it's terrible. That Restless Penis Syndrome sketch was ridiculously bad, and the audience knows it.
I also didn't the understand that commercial parody about GOLD. I think the joke was just the way Wiig said the word GOLD with such passion. Yeah, an entire bit written behind one word.
And Chris Rock doing a blacks vs whites spiel? Is this 1975?

Chris Rock's whole monologue came from his guest apperances on talk shows that week promoting his movie.

The last few shows feel like there are less skits.

Like they make the skits they like longer than usual so they won't have to write more skits.

Either that or they are so poor that they feel like they go on forever.

Why would robots need to repay each with sex? Its not irreverent it's just stupid.

The "Gold" commercial was funny on paper, but again it went on too long, even longer than the gold investment spots it's parodying.

I think that the Gold commercial even confused the audience. There was a slow build of applause.

Most of this show was terrible. JLD is a more than adequate host, but this material is just awful. Seriously, it's time that this show gets put out of its misery.

Wow...Julia is sooooooooooooooooooooooo HOTTTTTT! She seriously looked great, and was did well. The show's writing is very bad though, and it showed. I think Rainn Wilson had the best show all year so far.

The judge from Anna Nicole Smith's trial on WU is over its 15 minutes. Went on way to long. Thought the monologue was good. Julia seemed to use the same painful expression during the whole show, but I agree she looked good.

Snow Patrol was really really good. Does anyone know if the first song was new, or on their "Chasing Cars" CD?

Yes, it's on their current album "Eyes Open". Which is great.

Re: the show....the Chris Rock opener and the monologue were the only good parts of the show. That Gold commercial was just beyond weird. I'm glad the studio audience responded the same way the rest of America probably did.

in the big SNL book, there was a comment that the audience does not always listen to the "laughter" and "appluase" signs. I'm glad to see this commercial was one of those cases. Weird and not funny. Kind of like SNL in general these days.

Did Brad Hall hit the jackpot, or what? Not only is his wife super hot and doesn't seem to age (he looks 3 times older than she does, yet they're the same age), she's super rich and pretty funny to boot.

As for the show, JLD's monologue was pretty funny and there was one skit that made me laugh (though I forgot which one, so it couldn't have been too good) - and the rest of the show was shit.

As for Snow Patrol, while their music is basically inoffensive background/elevator music, actually listening to it made me grow a vagina...

Was that a picture of Tracey Gold from 'Growing Pains' on her wall? That was the only part I laughed at in the entire episode.

The worst episode of the season. The only funny part was the opening with Chris Rock (I laughed although he used the same jokes on Conan/Letterman/Larry King this past week).

I'm interested to see Peyton Manning next week (anything think Tom Brady might appear?) and I like the musical guest (Carrie Underwood).
