Ah yes another Sunday of watching the Simpsons, turning the TV off for 1/2 hour and then watching Family Guy.

I see they're back to pulling random character names and situations out of a hat and calling it a television show again.

I found it surprisingly entertaining. More dragons!!

Uh, but, they broke up because he doesn't know how to work a CD player or a blender? I don't mind that they had a lame reason for the divorce, but get some comedy out of it - I was at least expecting a return of the judge.

I lost it when the dragon showed up out of nowhere. IMO, that was the funniest gag they've had all season.

Liked it...laughed several times. Favorite line "Who knew guys in brown shirts could cause so much trouble" which I'm assuming was a reference to the SD.

That was nice but it was even funnier with the dragon lying on the ground after the battle.

Other good line was - "How are we going to replace her?" Someone puts a "Next window" sign on the table.

Bankruptcy court and grand basement were good too.

But yeah, I think we all agree that the grandpa stuff was awful.

I giggled at the shot of the car bouncing, only to be revealed that Selma was giving Abe CPR. The Two Towers reference had me lmao as well.

I enjoyed this one, even though I had low expectations going in.

What the fuck was that?

I didn't laugh once (and I'm usually not one of the Simpsons detractors).

That was probably one of the worst episodes of the series.

I almost sprayed my beverage when the Dragon appeared. Nice touch to have a packing tube stuck in its side.

I also liked the Woody Allen bit [Manhattan poster].

Definitely a highlight episode in this lackluster season.

I liked when Nelson showed up and takes out 20 guys ala Braveheart / 300 style.

The dragon was a nice touch!

That scene with him and Selma sucking on the lemon candy had me rolling.

They were known as the "brown shirts" in Nazi Germany, Hitler's shock troops. They were wiped out by the SS in what became to be known as the Night Of The Long Knives.

Moe's reply to Homer "You're not exactly open casket material yourself" really made me laugh. And Selma massaging Grandpa's head so that his face slid off his scull was a great visual gag.

Nelson yelling "Ha HAW!" as he jumped from the castle wall was funny. And Bart and Lisa using round mailing tubes to knock down the ASS guys really got to me. As did the ASS delivery guy using his clipboard to deflect a missel.

And why would Bart put a brick in a tube and blow it at them like a spitball?

I laughed a lot at that show. It was a nice change of pace.

This was an alright episode. I really liked the Bart/Lisa stuff. The line about how the UPS (or whatever they called themselves) will come back, come back one more time, and than make you go to their warehouse by the airport was pretty funny.

Why? What was funny about it?
