Banacek coming May 15th

Well, looks like one of my remaining major wants is headed for DVD soon. I'd like to think I had some hand in this as I just spent a couple days last month transferring, editing and burning my old tapes to dvd. Though I don't understand why the company is only putting out the 1st season (8 eps + pilot) yet they plan on releasing the whole series of The Crow at one time. With 9 -65 min eps, that's stretching the quality for 2 dvd's, I'm assuming they'll be double sided dual layered (maybe the pressing plants have fixed the problems). Also, the cover art posted states Banacek is the complete series. Gord, any insight as to if it will be the whole thing?

easy answer to that one. The Crow will sell much more dvds than Banacek will. The Crow is considered fairly modern and hip while not many people have heard of Banacek. with that being the case I look forward to watching Banacek. if I remember correctly didn`t George Pepperd the star opt out of a fourth season because of he didn`t want his ex-wife to get a larger percentage of his earnings as part of their divorce settlement?
