Reservoir Dogs 15th Anniversary Edition -- $9.44 regular price @ Target

Not sure if it was ever mentioned in here, but my Targets have had the gas can regular priced at $9.44 for the last couple months now.

I picked the gas can edition up at Best Buy for $6.99 a week or so back... I'm suprised at the low price point on what I think is a pretty nice set.

Same here. That was a great price. The packaging is awesome.

I was at Target yesterday and noticed something very surprising. They had the 15th anniversary edition, but it was not in a gas tin! Maybe they discontinued it or something. Glad I got mine a couple weeks ago.

Fred Meyer regularly has this on sale for $7.99, too.

Yeah, we (I run the cd/dvd dept at mine) started getting just the regular keepcase 15th anniversary last week. I guess I waited too long to pick one up.

I got the $6.99 one at Best Buy also. I was going to sell off my 10th anniversary "Mr. Pink" cover 2-dvd set, but then I found out it has some extras that the 15th anniversary one doesn't so I guess I will keep both.

I saw this in Target for $7.50 this week (2/25-3/3). It was the gas can tin version.

Yeah, I noticed that yesterday too. Forgot to post it. 'I have yet to see a non-gas can version.

I @#$%ing SWORE that I wasn't going to double-dip on anything until the HD format war is settled. Then I saw the new keepcase version in the middle of two gas cans. I am such a sucker for the cool packaging.

At least I only paid $7.50 ...

So, you bought the gas can version or keep case? Your post was confusing.

OK, I'll clarify: I don't consider keepcases to be "cool packaging" (although better than snappers ...)

The gas can version looks significantly better. The 10th anniversary edition was a complete disaster. There are even lines of dialog missing that has thankfully been restored for the 15th anniversary. I posted a bunch of comparison pics in the thread for this release but I'm just too lazy to look for it.

Edit: I have nothing better to do so here:
