Maybe on Xbox Live Arcade? Or is it owned by someone that would only put it on a Nintendo system or something. I REALLY would like to play it and I don't care about the NES version. Anybody know?

Wow, did someone hit their head while waking up on the wrong side of the bed?

This game was amusing, except for when you would 'respawn' into a rock and get stuck when you were 4 levels in and had to quit and hope it didn't happen again.

I don't really remember it that much. Would be cool if it showed up on the Wii VC as I'd probably buy it.

On online XBLA port of the arcade version would be played by me (if I had a 360). I remember playing that at Big Ed's burgers (oh god that was some greasy onion-fried goodness) when I was younger. Twisting the stick to aim was something I'll never forget. I guess you'd have to go to a dual-analog format to aim with one, move with the other and shoot with the triggers.
I'd buy the NES version on the Wii's VC in a heartbeat. ABBA (2112), baby!

From SNK's wiki entry...
In recent news, SNK has unofficially announced that their SNK arcade classics will be available for the PS3 in downloadable form. The likelihood of games appearing on Xbox 360 is unknown, due to the fact that SNK's arcade titles are over Xbox Live Arcade's 50MB limit.

Ikari Warriors involves Ralf Jones and Clark Steel of the later King of Fighters series (known outside Japan as Paul and Vince in the Ikari series) battling through hordes of enemies. According to designer Keiko Iju, the game was inspired by the then-popular Rambo films. Ralf and Clark also make an appearance as playable characters in the sixth Metal Slug game.

FWIW, my mame rom shows up to be about 1 Meg, uncompressed. I don't know what it would take on top of that for emulation, not much I'm sure. Of course, they'd need to update the graphics and add online play (through emulation) and achievements, but again shouldn't add too much.
How big are things like Pac-Man and Frogger on the arcade?
