What happened after Orson left his mom in the hospital room? DVR cut it short.

Spoiler:

Not much, he just drove away and it had the narrator saying how his life was flashing before his eyes, but this time it was his future.

Showed a bunch of scenes of him and Bree happy in suburbia. They he walked in and said "honey I'm home" and that was it.

Anywho, great episode. Liked how the wrapped up Orson's story. Kind of interested in how they handle the rest of the season with this one's main "mystery" resolved already.

I have a feeling they had to push it up due to Marcia Cross' maternity leave, hopefully they can keep the rest of the season up to pace as this season has been a huge rebound from the lacking 2nd season IMO.

I was shocked at how the entire Orson storyline got wrapped up in one episode. At least Mike is now a free man, just in time to attend Susan and Ian's wedding, I guess...

Zach Young's got a new porn name "Zach Hung". I let out a giggle when Carlos made the prop swing back and forth.

"Where are you going?"

"To warn the Scavo boys"

Pretty good episode and I liked how they wrapped everything up. Carlos' face after he peaked over at Zach was great.

I'm confused on one thing. Can anyone explain why Orson had tried to kill Mike?

Because Mike could place Orson at Monique's place that night.

A lot of good one-liners tonite!

Dixie Carter was great!
DH has nicely rebounded from that subpar sophomore season.

This is the only part of the story I don't like. Orson has not commited premediated murder against anybody else in his life. He manages to fool Mike the night of the murder and get him out of the house without suspecting anything, but he later has a complete change of heart and runs Mike over with a car! It doesn't seem to fit, and, in my opinion, it's now the only thing that keeps Orson from being a likeable guy when last night he could have completely redeemed his character.

Well, if I remember correctly I don't think that Orson really remembered Mike that well until Mike went to see Orson for a problem he had with his teeth. Orson then recognized him somehow and Mike sort of recognized Orson too, but Orson placed where he remembered Mike while Mike thought it was in prison somewhere. Since Orson was afraid Mike would remember, he decided to run him over to protect himself.

It is a little thin, but then again most of TV is.

So, the whole Orson storyline was just a huge Psycho homage? Spoilers for the one guy who hasn't see Psycho:
Spoiler:
  • Mother kills father
  • Mother starts killing women who get too close to her son
  • Son covers up Mother's murders
  • Mother kills some victims with a knife in the bathtub/shower
  • Mother pops up out of nowhere and knocks somebody down the stairs
  • Son carries an incapacitated Mother around

Only difference is that in Psycho, "Mother" is a split personality of the son.

With a huge part of the mystery out of the way for Orson, they still leave it up in the air if anything will come down between him and Mike for the hit and run. Knowing this show, where everything is not always as it seems at first, I get the feeling not everything is going to be so tidy for Orson with his mother away and the psycho ex out of the picture. Mike's memories will continue to come back to him...he will remember the face behind the wheel of the car, and I get the feeling that will play out in the season finale more so than the over all mystery that was wrapped up in this episode would have played---which is saying I don't think they wrapped up the mystery so quickly in that regard because of Marcia Cross's maternity leave. There's more to the story.

If the producers don't go back to it, then it will be similar to season two and the many dangling plot lines that never were revisited in that season, and it would be a horrible mistake.

To clarify, I don't think Orson's plot line is wrapped up either, just the main mystery is.

That's all I really cared about, I'm not that interested in what happens between him and Mike etc....the main mystery is what has kept me watching the series. And it's why I lost interest a lot last year since the main mystery (Applewhites) was so lame.

It was a pretty good episode, but it was wrapped up too neatly for my liking.

We should just be happy it isn't a I Know What You Did Last Summer homage.

This being DH, I'm not convinced it really is "the end" of the storyline.

I dont think the plotline is wrapped up either. That "Honey, I'm home line" tipped me off that something else is going to go down.

So does the fact that Zack is hanging like a huge sausage make up for his hairstyle? I say cut the crap off. He looks deranged.

So how are they going to write out Bree for her maternity leave? When Orson was coming home all happy and looking forward to their future together, I expected him to find she had left him.

And who would have ever thought we'd be cheering "Go Andrew!" like we were at this episode.

In the history of television, I don't think there has been a character less able to pull off their new look than Zach. He looks silly.

You don't need looks though if you are loaded and hung like Seabiscuit.

Apparantly he does if he wants to nail Gabby.
