YAET- Question about selling cell phones on Ebay
My wife and I just upgraded our Cingular phones and I am thinking about selling our old ones. First question, there's no reason to send the SIM card with the phone, is there? Second question, if the phones are able to be unlocked, should I do that before I sell them? I should be able to get more money for them if they are unlocked, shouldn't I?
Thanks
Thanks

Thanks for the info everyone. My wife and I upgraded to KRZRs, which have newer sim cards, so we don't need the old ones. I did a master reset and master clear on the old phones, I just wasn't sure if sending the sim cards with the phones would be safe. As long as our account is tied to the new SIM/IMEI info, the old sim card can't be traced back to our account, right?

Don't know why the Sim card has any value. When I got my new phone (came with my new car), I just took my old analogue phone in and the Cingular salesperson transferred my phone book onto a new sim card, stuck it in and I walked out. There was no charge for this; since I selected a new plan, my bills are different, but the sim card plus the programming were free.
