G.I. Jane HD-DVD, But no New Anamorphic for Standard DVD?

I just saw that G.I. Jane is being released on HD-DVD, a format I won't be upgrading to at this point and was wondering if there's any news of a rerelease for standard DVD that will have an anamorphic transfer?

It's actually being released on BD, not HD DVD. I don't know whether it was given an HD master to begin with (the DVD being a non-anamorphic downconversion) or whether it's a new transfer, but either way they should be able to do an anamorphic DVD edition. Perhaps they're waiting to produce new extras?

My Bad, you're right it's Blu-Ray. Extras would e great considering the current version is barebones.
