Hold on. What would I be upset for? This just means those who already have them don't have to buy them again. They had enough extras, right? I'm getting the BD versions of these films anyway. Hopefully the extras will be ported over.

So there's nothing new here at all? They're just repacking the old DVDs in a new box? I don't have Pi, so maybe if I see it cheap someplace, but this seems really pointless.

Why didn't they just wait until May and package The Fountain with the other two, and call it "The Darren Aronofsky Collection" instead of "A Darren Aronofsky Collection"?
Edit: oops, wrong studio, that explains it.

Well like a dope I bought this today since the back of the box says "16x9 Widescreen 1.661" for Pi.
The only thing that's new is the cover art on the box, which says Lionsgate now. The discs still both say Artisan and have the old catalog #'s from the original releases. It literally looks like a repackaging.
I already had Pi but not Requiem, but I was still hoping for an anamorphic of Pi. As usual Lionsgate doesn't know the first fucking thing about accuracy.

I've seen it in stores for $9.99 (CC). At least it can save shelf space since it is regular keepcase size. I did not check if it's the DR of Requiem, though. I might consider selling my old Requiem if so, and get it to have Pi in the library.
