It should be My Road To Nowhere

Spoiler:
ROAD TRIP! ELIZABETH BANK'S ("THE 40-YEAR OLD VIRGIN") - Turk (Donald Faison) convinces J.D. (Zach Braff) that he needs to go to Tacoma for Kim's (Elizabeth Banks) first ultra sound -- which results in an impromptu road trip for the Sacred Heart crew. After commandeering Dr. Kelso's (Ken Jenkins) new RV Eliot (Sarah Chalke), Carla (Judy Reyes), Keith (Travis Schuldt), Ted (Sam Lloyd) and the Janitor (Neil Flynn) join the father to be on his journey. Meanwhile, Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) and Jordan (Christa Miller) face some concern when her ultrasound reveals that their unborn child will need to have surgery.

Ted and Jan I Tor going on the trip sounds really forced.

Carla: All right, Elliot, you just have to ease into it, okay? Let's forget about patients for now [holds up magazine] and start with this. [it's a centerfold]

Elliot: Ohh, my God! She's got a tattoo of a teardrop on her bajingo! [pause] Is it sad?

Carla: Her _vagina_, Elliot, she has a tattoo on her beautiful vagina.

Turk walks in, and gasps at the centerfold.

Turk: Awwwh! This just isn't fair. [walking away] Not fair at all. It's ridiculous!

Elliot: [getting up] This is stupid!

Carla: Elliot, I'm just trying to help.

Elliot: Yeah, you know what Carla, I don't remember asking for your help, okay?

She storms out.
Carla looks at the centerfold.

Carla: It does look a little sad. They always do.

So is there a new episode tonight? I've got to dig the battle trenches with the wife if so over Grey's Anatomy.

Yeah, there's a lot of stuff in this season that seems really forced. The syndicated episodes make me really nostalgic for the times when Scrubs was a good, funny, and clever show. All the characters seems to be so out of character lately.

I honestly don't think that I laughed once. Not a funny episode at all.

FWIW, Kim's doctor at the end was Michael Ausiello from TV Guide.

Spoiler:
Maybe she was deadset on accepting the permanent position and didn't want JD uprooting his life to come to Tacoma?

Turk's cell phone ring tone was awesome

I've always been under the impression that Sacred Heart was on the east coast (I know they've never officially said where it is, that's just the impression I had). But their road trip to Tacoma seemed to take less than a day.

Anyway, kind of a dark episode. I still liked it though.

Sacred Heart is located somewhere in Southern California since there is no snow (Janitor reinforces this by building a liveable sand castle around Christmas time) and its pretty comfortable during winter.

As for this episode, I was not expecting the twist ending. That was a cold and somewhat cruel way to protect someone's feelings.

Amen to that. Yeah the ending was a bit of a downer, but it wouldn't be the first time with this show. The fact that Turk referred to Carla as his pickle was great!

JD: Then I can call Isabella "little Ghirkin". Come on Turk, I need this.

Something definitely seemed off with this episode to me. I don't know if it was because they were out of the hospital environment for a good part of it. It really didn't make any sense for all those people to go with JD on a road trip.

And the ending was a bit of wtf. I can only assume she didn't want JD to feel like he had to stay with her just for the baby. That's still a piss poor reason to lie to a man about losing his baby, but that's all I can figure.

I liked the ringtone, I also liked when Carla said "I got Turk" refering to his phone number. Plus Turk doing the fist pump and getting a truck horn

"Does your phone have a picture of Carla?"

Another meh episode. I enjoyed it, but then at the end it come crumbling down. I like to be left upbeat by my sitcoms, not depressed.

Please let that be the end of that bitch character Kim. Never liked the actress or her character.
