Random CSI question..
Why does Wallace Langham (Hodges) get special guest star billing on the show? He's not a big star or anything. Sure, he's done a ton of TV work, but the dude isn't all that special.

Yeah, I figured that. Just seems weird since he's not in the show for more than 2 minutes a night, nor a big star.

He agreed to a six-figure settlement with the reporter who accused him of an anti-gay hate crime on January 26, 2000. The altercation between the two men stemmed from remarks that the reporter allegedly made about Langham's girlfriend.

Szamanda and Hall were the first billed guests before they were bumped up to the opening titles. I bet Louise Lombard is up there with Langham.
