Casino Royale is $19.99 Regularly apply coupon code "SAVE10FS" to save 10% and free budget shipping. And $7 Mail-in-Rebate

19.99 Reg. -Coupon = 17.99 - $7 MIR = 10.99

*EDIT*
Coupon "SAVE10FS" has expired but as someone pointed out here "MCOCT2006" still works

Great price but god I hate rebates. Why can't they just give you that price right off? (I know...they want people to forget to send it in...but still.)

Wonder if any of the other stores are going to be anywhere close to this?

the lowest price i could foreseeably see is $13.99. I have never seen a new release like that for any lower and that price is usually exclusive to Circuit City. I honestly dont think it will be any lower than 14.99 at any store, but only time will tell.

Hopefully this hasn't be asked already, but has FYE stopped requiring you to cut up your case and send in the UPC barcodes for these rebates?

This deal is for the regular edition not the 2 disc special edition. That edition is currently available at Amazon for $15.99, which is not a huge difference in price. I don't know if there will be any rebates for the 2-disc version or not. We'll see...

There is no single-disc edition. The $22.99 version on FYE.com's site is for PSP (check the UPC numbers on the rebate slip and the product page).

Why is this cover seen at Amazon different than the one at FYE -- is it a screw-up?

it looks like the picture of amazon is of the actual dvd case, and the one at FYE looks like the movie poster, i.e. credits and dates. Im only guessing but thats what it seems like to me

You're right -- that's a movie poster at FYE

Thanks

No Problem, BTW found this and looks like they are only producing a 2 disc special edition for the initial release one full screen and one wide screen.

Yeah, thats because they don't send you your rebate. So why bother with one more more unnecessary requirement ?

I have extensive experience with this and can tell you that the UPC is technically no longer required, although the rebate company appears to have not figured this out. I have had a lot of these rejected, but it is relatively easy to reinstate the rejection. All I have to do is call the phone number on the rejection notification, tell them that I have photocopies of everything, and they reinstate the rebate every time. I do not know why they do this, maybe just to make things difficult, but all it ever takes for me is one phone call. It has become one of the rebate rituals with fye.

They should really tell you this on the rebate form:

“Many rebate submissions will be falsely rejected because we are *&#@ and want to make things hard for you. Just call the phone number on the card and we will acknowledge our mistake.”

Believe me, if you are willing to go through the hassle of preparing the rebate materials in the first place, then making a call is no big deal.

Thanks for the post. I am still waiting on my South Park rebate but they did send me an email the other day stating that they received it and it is processing. Got my Star Wars rebates with no problem so I guess I will go ahead with this one. I can always cancel if a different deal comes up but I would be surprised to see anyone beating $11 plus tax.

Thanks to the original poster of this thread!
