Most typecast actor ever?

Who is the most typecast actor/actress ever?

(I searched for typecast but did not find anything that asked this question broadly).

Here's an experiment: go up to someone who knows movies but isn't a walking lexicon. Ask them to name a movie in 15 seconds or less where Jeff Goldblum did not play a mathematician or scientist. I got stumped
Spoiler:
(having never seen Earth Girls are Easy and forgetting 9 Months).

So, my vote goes to Jeff Goldblum. I'm sure you guys can name a lot of others as well: character actors, etc.

I'd have to say that Chris Cooper is getting dangerously close as being typecast as military leader / government agent. There's only been one (maybe two) movies that have broken this streak:

Breach
The Kingdom
Syriana
Jarhead
Bourne Supremacy
Bourne Identity
The Patriot
Me, Myself, and Irene
American Beauty

(Out of "popular" movies, he didn't play this character in Seabiscuit*. He also didn't in Adaptation or Capote*.) *AFAIK

Adam West - Batman

It's funny but I've always personally typecast Chris Cooper as the abusive 1950's father...I don't know why but everytime I see him I wait for him to verbal and/or physically abuse his children.

Orlando Bloom.

They actually did a thing on him in People magazine that he always has a horse, armor and/or sword in every movie.

Gah! Beat on Reggie by 4 minutes! He's always the first name that leaps to my mind.

How about Dennis Farina as a mobster? Law & Order notwithstanding.

Hard to believe he was the one who help "find" Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro and Meryl Streep.

As for my submission, I would go with Owen Wilson.

Sean Connery...

1. Old guy who was wronged by people years ago so he went away and now the world needs him.

2. Old guy who knows better than everyone...but he's tired of the world...so he went way...and now the world needs him
