Dvd's at CVS 75% off
Went into CVS today. They have all their DVD's at 75% off. They have a few good higher end ones. I got a disney one for $5 and a few others for $2 -$2.50. Most of them are originally priced at $9 to $10. Some movies were junk. Most are what you would find in Columbia House's $14.95 or less section.

I have a "bought and converted" CVS down the road from me. I never go in it. I'll run down and check it out now so I can report back on it. I'm really bored and wide awake anyhow.
Update:
I *think* they were having the sale. It's hard to tell though because all they had left was about 20 copies of The Cat In The Hat (live action) red stickered at 75% off.
I passed.
It might be worth checking out your local store though even if it is a converted Rite Aid (or whatever).

Yes, they were 50% a couple weeks ago. I snagged Lady and the Tramp for $11. And I had a $10 extra care coupon to bring it down to $1.
The person at CVS said they were going to stop carrying dvds.

CVS is a drug store chain that usually has outrageous pricing on stuff like Dvds. But I might have to check it out if their 75% off.
Thanks for the heads up.

Here CVS bought out Eckerds. The only two drugstore chains in town are Walgreens and CVS (not counting the Walmart and Target pharmacies and those in the HEB grocery stores).
Have to check out the DVDs. Sometimes you'll make a good find.

On my lunch, I stopped at 2 CVS's within a mile of my office. One had about 20 DVDs left, all crap, for 50% off. The other had everything marked to $6 and most of the titles were ones that Best Buy or Circuit City have run for that price or cheaper.

Also check the Rewards Card table.
Its where you sign up for their
discount card. Card is free.
They have $2 off of $10 purchase coupons.
(excludes booze, smokes & drugs)
If you do not see them ask the cashier.
Again it maybe a YMMV.
Mine are remodeling so they are also
giving away some items, like water bottles
& xmas stuff left over.
I picked up enough wrapping paper for years.

Man, CVS is buying out stores all over the country aren't they. Around here it was Osco Drug they've taken over. The one nearest to me did sell DVDs though, I'll have to go look tomorrow and see if they have anything. Doubt they'll have much, but maybe I'll get lucky and find some Disney like a couple people have mentioned.
