I may be 7 years late with this thread, but...

I'm listening to the Platypus album, When Pus Comes To Shove, and I've got to say that it is freaking BRILLIANT!

Imagine equal parts King's X, Deep Purple, Dream Theater, 70's Yes, 80's Yes, and maybe just a little Steely Dan and you'll get a good idea of what this album sounds like.

They've got a couple other albums that I have not heard yet - but When Pus Comes To Shove is amazing!

If you're a Progressive Rock/Metal fan, definitely check it out!

I love Dream Theater, Kings X and Queensryche so I will have to give this band a try.
