PS3 ate my Final Fantasy XII save. Please help.
I've been playiing Final Fantasy 12 on the ps3. This morning I turned it on to find that my virtual memory card had been erased. Since the PS3 has the nice feature of backing up saves on a flash drive, Does anyone have a save file near the start of The Stilshrine of Miriam? Any help would be appreciated as about 40 hours of gameplay is down the drain.

Wait, wait... your virtual memory card was erased? Any idea how this happened? I just moved all of my PS2 saves onto my PS3, and I'd be ticked if they were erased...

its happened to some other people from what i've read, and its usually Final Fantasy 12. I just loaded up the game the other day and it said no save file. My virtual memory card that i had in slot one is completely corrupted.

So not only does FF XII look like crap on the PS3, but I also have to worry about the save being corrupted?

If your virtual memory card is gone your totally out of lucky. Sorry.
Thats why I haven't backed them up on the PS3 yet. All the patches that are coming to fix the system are most likely gonna screw with the HD & general memory.

There is a save file on there that would get me pretty close to where I was at, but the ps3 only accepts save files in a .psv format. I would need a codebreaker to get that save file to work.
