Twin Peaks Season 1 = Big Money...
Just found out about this...Twin Peaks Season 1 dvd set is going for BIG money these days, especially on Amazon. It is going for over $200 on Amazon, if now is not the best time to sell then when will it be right? With the complete series being released (hopefully) next year it would be nice to make a nice profit on this set...Any thoughts?

The answer to those questions will help you decide whether to sell or not. If you are going to sell, it should be now.
For me personally, TWIN PEAKS ranks up there with THE PRISONER as my all-time favorite TV show. And is only one of a half-dozen TV shows that I need to own the complete series. (Lost In Space, Star Trek:TOS, Prisoner, Time Tunnel, Friday 13th: Series, and Twin Peaks)
I would much rather miss out on the winfall of selling season 1 than miss out on owning the series. But that's me.

Is anyone really buying them for $200 though? Seriously there's one on ebay at the moment for $75. I don't think anyones shelling out 200 for this, besides couldn't you just get some other region too?

These don't look like they are going on Amazon, the same ones have been listed for a while. I'm guessing the people on this "other board" are stretching the truth

- buy the region 2 version of season 1 with the pilot episode
as for season 2, via lynchnet.com:

Well, after years of waiting, it's finally happening. Paramount has officially announced the release of season 2 of Twin Peaks here in the US. Mark your calanders, April 10, 2007 is the big day. Unlike in Europe, the second season will be released in one set instead of two.

The original first season had DTS audio. Has Paramount confirmed that season two will have DTS sound? I'm very happy with the first season set and will keep it in my collection.

Sadly, it seems DTS is becoming a thing of the past.
BTW - I'm interested in purchasing the R1 First Season set (at a reasonable price) if anyone has an extra, or is willing to part.

Got the set. I've watched this once. Saw the series as it aired. I like, but I'm fine with whatever basic version is released in the next 10 years, if any.
Gonna check prices, if this is a draw, my set is going up ASAP. My replay value is pretty small on this one.
