The Lady Vanishes- new remaster in Janus box

According to the dvdbeaver comparison, there is a new remaster of The Lady Vanishes in the 50 film Janus boxset. Anyone know if this is likelyto get a re-release on its own in the future ?

This has always been one of those early discs that needed a redo IMHO.

There has been speculation about a re-release because it was also conspicuously mentioned in a recent Criterion blog.

"The Lady Vanishes was perhaps my favorite of all. I traveled to England with my parents in the early seventies when my dad was meeting with Rank Film Distributors, and I looked for “Froy” on every train window. We screened a new print at the Janus 50th celebration in September for over 400 people. The reaction was wonderful, and seeing it on the big screen with an audience was a treat. I’ve seen each of these dozens of times and always look forward to the next time."

hmm, I would definitely pick it up. It's a very good film but the current transfer definitely needs an upgrade.

I'd definitely double dip.
