House - "Merry Little Christmas" - 12/12/2006
The title made me laugh. Anywho:

Just about everything that came out of House's mouth was gold tonight (well, except for the drool). His pitter-patter with the mom was hilarious.
It's confirmed: Tritter has no life. I seriously hope he gets a case of fire-crotch and it comes down to House knowing how to save him, but he makes him suffer for the fall of his discontent.

While the Tritter stuff has actually provided some interesting drama the past two episodes (as far as interplay between the main characters, not because of Tritter himself), I hope they wrap it up within the next episode or two. If they drag it on beyond that it will be overkill. The problem is they keep building up the obstacles for House so high, and yet we know it's a bluff because there's no way they're really going to send House to prison. It's fake suspense.
That aside, this was a really good episode. I'm glad they can still manage to have some humor despite whatever dire situations the main characters are in, and without it feeling forced or out of place.

I really liked last nights ep. Wilson and Cameron had some good back and forth.
I loved House's "Wanna go for a spin?" to the patients mother. A lot of great lines in this ep.

House's puns on the little people were pretty funny. House going through withdrawl not so much. I'm another one that wishes the Tritter plot would end already. House had his arc, he was ready to accept rehab and now it continues with Tritter trying to put him in jail. I'm not sure, but I don't think a police detective would be allowed to do so much investigation without some sort of authorization. If he is doing it on his own time, that's pretty close to harassment. However, if House has to go to court, that should provide some great scenes.

WARDEN: "House, help this man, somebody stabbed him with a shiv in the shower!"
HOUSE: "Any idiot can see that the shiv is just a symptom, he ate a rotten apple when he was 7 and poison has only now been released into his system."
WARDEN: "What....what about the shiv?"
HOUSE: "You idiot."

When I saw Tritter working on Christmas Eve, it made me think of Catch Me If You Can, when Tom Hanks character was so obsessed with catching Leo's Frank Abignale that he also spent Christmas eve at the office.
This was a great episode.
