Narnia Extended in stock at buy.com - $26.92 (regular) or $50.26 (giftset) with GCO
Just thought I'd bring up the fact that the Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe 4-Disc Extended Edition is now in stock at buy.com, as both the regular and the giftset. That means that it is now eligible for the google checkout 10 off 30 or 20 off 50. The thing about google checkout is you never know when it's going to end, so I jumped on this now.
Anyway, the regular 4-disc's regular price is 36.92 with free shipping, which means it's 26.92 with 10 off 30 or if you can find something for 13.08, it will be $30 with $20 off $50. The giftset is 70.26 with free shipping, so that means it's 50.26 with $20 off $30.

Yeah, the movie itself isn't much different I guess. But there is a lot of extras if you are into that. One disc has a full length feature film on CS Lewis.

Not to steal your thunder joltman, but dvd planet will have the Narnia extended edition for 20.97 with GCO when it becomes available to ship on the 12th. For 21 bucks, i think it's a steal!

The box set with the bookends should be cheaper, considering it is $20 off. Amazon has it for 54.97. Buy.com sure isn't competing with them on that one (without google checkout, I mean)

In my copy of Pirates of The Carribean DMC there's a booklet that mentions a $10 rebate if you purchased a previous edition of Narnia. There were no other details but I'm assuming the rebate form comes with the set. that certainly sweetens this deal.
Thanks!
Thanks!

yes, price of 27 dollars after the goolge discount is really expensive.
I think this version has an extra 30 minutes but I am not sure. I allready own the 2 disc special edition. I really hate this double dipping . I am not sure if it is worth it really.

If you are only interested in Narnia, then DVD Planet is probably better, but to be able to get up to the $20 and apply to another disc that wouldn't have gotten the discount otherwise makes it better at Buy for me.......

I went and ordered from Buy.com yesterday along with a CD for $30.48 ($20 off $50). I'm suprised that I just got a shipping notice considering that in past orders buy.com usually ships a day or two after a title streets. If I'm able to get the rebate this is an awesome deal. Thanks for the post joltman.

My set arrived today and it states that to receive the $10 rebate you need the PoP from either the 1-disc release or the 2-disc release and the PoP from the extended release plus the receipt dated between 12/12/06 - 01/31/07 (for the extended release only). No receipt needed for the prior releases and no cutting the box for the extended edition because it has the removable tabs inside.
