does anyone have the 24 Season 5 DVD already?

could someone please check the bonus DVD-ROM and post what's on it?

FOX had a contest a few weeks back for fans to submit content they created about 24, and they selected a video i made (all of Jack Bauer's "Damn It"s) and said it would be put onto the DVD-ROM, and I just wanted to see if it's really there. don't have time to get the dvd right now, but will get it this weekend.

thanks

Bonus discs at three different retailers today.

Target, Best Buy, and Wal-Mart, which now has a bonus disc on each season of 24. I'm hoping that all 5 bonus discs at WM are the same.

I'll wait to hear some reviews before I decide which one to buy.

I'm pretty sure the bonus disc at Wal-Mart is the same for all 5 seasons. I bought season 5 and the bonus disc says 'The Making of 24' and not 'The Making of the Fifth Season of 24' or so on.

There's a separate 24 documentary DVD that was released concurrently.

My set arrived from Amazon. What exactly are those bonus discs?

The Target bonus disc has a panel discussion with cast members (including Kiefer, Itzin, Smart), crew (including Surnow), and other "experts" (including an LA councilman and some talking heads) comparing the show to "reality". It timed out to about half an hour. I only took a quick look, but it looks decent. I chose this one because it's a good opportunity to see cast and crew as real people, but the panel is pretty big so obviously each individual doesn't get to talk very much.

I would be interested in any details of the Wal Mart disc. There is an R2 disc on the editing process for 24 that's about an hour and a half. I suspect the bonus is *not* that disc, but if it is that would be a good way to get it.

my bonus disc will be the bonus disc I buy with the $5 gift card from CC

by the way I forgot these would be packaged in slimline cases and not as a fold out like previous sets

sorry this doesn't answer your question OP as I haven't opened my set yet and don't have a dvd-rom drive

Best Buy info from Ma12kez at CAG:

"So I decided to pick up 24: S5 at BB since I had RZ certs and I have to agree that the new packaging is great. The bonus disc (stunts and special effects) was pretty interesting and just about 30 min in length. It's basically a documentary interview with the co-producer and the lead special effects team. The only downside was that it came in a cheap generic plain white CD paper sleeve instead of having it's own case (was expecting at least a cardboard sleeve with some cover art but whatever).

The prequel to Season 6 was okay. Doesn't really reveal much of the story or anything, so if you're afraid of spoilers there are none."

I'll take a look at it tomorrow and report what's on it....you do have to install Hot Lama software to view the DVD-ROM content.

This is all I was able to find.

- There were 10 winners
- I do not know what signed Kiefer item the winners will receive
- The content will be displayed on a DVD-Rom website
- Once the website is live I will inform the 24 Team

Below are links to a few winning submissions (not all winners submitted video content).
