Apartment Zero --> 2/20/2007 Finally!

This under-rated little gem is coming to Region 1 DVD via Union Station/Anchor Bay on February 20th...no word on specs, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for at least an anamorphic widescreen transfer!

According to the IMDB, the VHS release was shortened by 8 minutes by the director. The dvd release is suppose to be the complete 124 minute version. I saw this many years ago and yes, it is a sleeper. It will be nice to see it again and see if it holds up to past expectations.

I've seen the cover art, and it says original theatrical version, which is either the US cut or the longer international 'theatrical' version - this new version is rather vague on this aspect.

Apartment Zero was released on DVD many years ago from the inferior DVD manufacturer: Platinum Disc Corporation, with a jewel case, which I have in my collection. The DVD is Full Screen, 124 Minutes. But I'll most certainly will be upgrading this movie as well.

I also have the platinum release. So obscure that dvdaficionado didn't have cover art the first time I tried to add it!

Great little twisted movie though...I will definitiely upgrade!
