The O.C. - "The Sleeping Beauty" - 11/30/06
It's an honor to be able to start this thread. Thank you.
Great episode. Once again. This season is shaping up to be...well, everything we hoped it would. Taylor has single-handedly breathed new life into this show. The tea and the kiss in the end, and then the non-consumption of tea and the Ryan finally sleeping....oh snap!!
I guess we don't have to worry about it getting cancelled either. I think Yahoo! TV had a story from E! that asked McG and the Schwartz about cancellation rumors and they both said they know nothing about that, they're just waiting to hear if they are getting 22 episodes or if FOX is sticking with the 16. Yes!!
So is Summer gonna get kicked outta Brown like Che thinks? I hope so, I want her back in Orange County. I don't see Seth going off to RISD next semester...it's too many sets.
Next week

Really good episode. Summer's storyline is still doing nothing for me, but the rest of the show is almost back to Season 1 form.
Taylor was one of the only watchable aspects of the dreadful Season 3, so beefing up her role(particularly when it's in place of Mischa Barton) is a smart move.
Nice to see Fred Burkle's dad on TV again. He needs to lay off the teeth whitening though.
I just hope the reverse shark jump this show has pulled isn't a case of too little, too late. Hopefully with Fox's slumping TV fortunes, they'll be more inclined to keep it around as long as the writing remains at this level.

If FOX is going to order a full season, they better do it sooner than later. Most shows tend to wrap production for the season by March or April. I'm thinking they better do it by January or we're stuck with 16.

Aaaagh- I'm pissed!
Came home to watch it last night on my DVR, and it was listed with an ep description and everything. But when I went to play the show, I somehow ended up with two old epsiodes of Scrubs? My local affilate must have screwed something up - but I don't know if it was the cabel company, or the local Fox station. Either way, didn't get to see the episode.
Wish they had these online with all the other Fox shows at Myspace - but no joy there, either.

I loved this episode!
I agree that Autumn Reeser has been a breathe of fresh air and has brought new life to this show. Big Kudos to Josh Schwartz for casting her!!
