The show will be back in January instead of March as per Fox.

It's going to be back on January 29th. The 22nd will be a 1 hour clip show recapping the 1st 13 episodes. With only 9 episodes left after tonight, the show will have it's season finale by the end of March.

Didn't quite see that ending coming, but it does lead to some more juicy stories when the show starts back up in January.

Poor Bellick, he is so going to get so pwned by his bunkmate.

That's why it's such a good show, and I hope a lot of people are watching it.

I thought it was pretty obvious that one of the 2 guys would turn sides.

I can't help but at the absurdity of Bellick already going to Fox River. You don't go to state pen prior to trial. Furthermore, I had no idea they had gone back to Illinois.

Much less that he would be there in a couple of hours. They would have had to go to court for the plea deal, all the red tape and logistical stuff, and transport him there. Silliness.

The timing on this show is just insane. There is no way they get Bellick arrested, offer him a deal, and get him sent back to Fox River in a day.

Now that I'm done with the episode, I'll continue the conversation I started in the last episode thread talking about how idiotic it was for them to let Kellerman live. Of course, it wouldn't be Prison Break without plot holes you could drive a Mack truck through.

Mahone must have borrowed Bauer's cell phone.... he has the kind that can get a signal anywhere... even in underground tunnels.

at Bellick wanting to be in a Illinois prison so he can be close to his mother.

I was wondering how long it was going to take for that lady to see T-Bag on the most wanted list... They were in a Post Office!

And I'm still trying to figure out why Michael and Linc have different last names and seem to have the same father.

That's one of the reasons why Fox is having the show return in January instead of March. Last week's episode did 9.2 Million, which was high.

Anyhow, the episode ended in a manner that was shocking, but rather fitting. Definitely a good set-up for the 2nd half of the show. Damn! Imagine Prison Break AND 24!!! DAMN!!

Michael was born after his father deserted them, so he had his mother's maiden name.

Bellick took a deal, so no trial. Still, of course it was ridiculously fast, from him taking a deal for something he knows he didn't do to the teletransport back to Joliet.

All in all, a great "fall finale." I'm glad Paul has switched sides; he's a cool, psychotic character.

He still would have to go before the court.

Yep. That's a month right there in a quick locality. I'm sure it would take some time to get that deal worked out, too. What's in it for Illinois to make them eager to let him serve there?

I think it's pretty clear that the audience is expected to believe that they went through all that stuff in record time.

I'm glad Micheal's keen grasp of the obvious led him to see that it was possibly a trap

Now THAT is how you go into hiatus, unlike another high profile show that went into its break with a whimper, this show went out with a great episode, and a great cliffhanger ending.

I figured that Mahone would turn on the Government, but a great twist having Kellerman do it instead, much better motivation for his side anyway. Can't wait for the second half!

Great Fall Finale!! January cannot come soon enough. I like the new twist with Kellerman. If William Fichtner is indeed done with the show, he had a pretty good run, until they made his character a freaking whack job.

Looking forward to seeing Bellick play the real "Survivor" in FOX River.
