Die Hard Trilogy at Target - Wide or Full??

Does anyone know if the Die Hard Trilogy 3-DVD set at Target is Widescreen or Fullscreen? The box doesn't say, and it only cost $19 - which makes me suspicious. The cover is black, with a green "Target Exclusive" sticker on it and the cases are the 'slimline' types. If anyone knows, thanks.

The real question would be are they anamorphic or not.

To my knowledge, Fox never released a fullscreen version of this trilogy to DVD (please correct me if I am wrong).

I noticed the Die Hard movies have also been re-released separately with the Fox green and red holiday paclaging slipcover. I'd say it's a good bet whatever version those are is what will be found in the Target trilogy box.

I would assume that they are identical to each disc 1 of the original trilogy set and are widescreen, of course this set is minus the 3 extra features discs. I saw this there and it surely looked like this is just a package of each disc 1 of the trilogy in slim packaging. I think you may be safe, so go ahead and enjoy.

Actually I was wondering if it had the 2-discers in there, it's a bit heavy.

I just checked mine. All three movies are in widescreen and anamorphic 2.35:1. I've only had a chance to watch the first Die Hard and it had a few special features.

All three films are the anamorphic 2.35:1 widescreen versions. I just bought it recently, but unfortunatly I do not have pictures, you will just have to take my word for it.

Or you could wait and see what Fox does when Die Hard 4 comes out. I'm guessing they'll either rerelease the Special Edition set or wait and have a nice box set for all 4 in the Fall.

I could be wrong, but I'm not expecting a set of all four when Live Free or Die Hard comes to DVD, nor would I care for one. I like the Ultimate Collection as it is, and I'm planning to get it around the time of the theatrical release for Live Free. Then I'll get Live Free separately.
