Like the title said at FYE (and Strawberries) until Wed 11/22. Starts tomorrow (11/19), but since my town only get a local Saturday paper with the flyer they honored the sale today. BTW - price is out the door - no rebates required.
They also have some CD sets for $19.99 - Bruce Springsteen - Born To Run 30th AE (3 disc set w/DVD), Frank Sinatra 10 CD set, Johnny Cash - The Legend 4CD set (highly recommended) and Queen - Platinum Coll. Gt. hits I, II and III 3 CD set (highly recommended). Also all 20th century remasters CDs are $15.98 for 2 with a free $15 iTunes card.

Awesome! Thanks for the heads-up. I already have Lost, but I'll definitely get Charmed for $19.99. I'll even try and press my luck and see if they'll accept a $3 off coupon(the coupon is supposed to exclude sale items).

You could check fye.com tomorrow and see if they have the same sale online. Online there is a $25 order minimum for free shipping and on Friday I used a coupon (MCOCT2006) which gives you 10% off AND free shipping if total after the 10% off is still $25 on Family Guy Vol.4 to get it for $16.xx AR! That coupon is supposed to only be for purchases with Mastercard and expired, but it still works and I paid only using a giftcard

Thanks for the advice, sotra. I'll check back online.

I hear you. I didn't place my order because I was waiting for Tuesday to order Alias(before I went to bed last night, I thought that the coupon could only be used once and that Alias was unavailable for discount until Tuesday). From other threads, I know that you have an interest in anime. FYE has quite a few Geneon titles on sale for half price right now. With the extra 10% off, now might be a good time to fill in any gaps that you might have in your collection.

Btw, thanks for the FYE tip.

Just got back from the FYE store in Durham at Southpoint Mall -- none of these items were on sale for $19.99 - unfortunately I did not bring a copy of the ad that is listed on their website. They were pretty rude about it - said what I saw must be for a previous or later sale.

Well, thanks to the O.P. I stopped by FYE this morning and Lost S2 was "on sale" for $54.99. I should've asked them about it in store but, I thought maybe I had misread the post and got the store wrong.
So when I got home I checked online and the ad is right there as the O.P. stated, so I gave my FYE a call.
The said they didn't know what I was talking about. Hadn't heard of any sales like that. They claimed that it might be online only. I told them that I was looking at the ad as we spoke, it's in-store only 11/19 - 11/22. So I asked if they would scan it for me. ...$54.99
What the...?!?!

I was in the store today and didn't think they have Lost S2 or Johnny Cash 4CD set for $19.99. Otherwise I should've noticed because I remember seeing them while browsing the shelves. At $19.99 I could not have missed them.

I know that every year FYE has their best DVD prices of the year for certain titles on the two days after Thanksgiving. Maybe they got their dates messed up on that flyer? I remember getting The O.C. last year from FYE for $19.99 on Black Friday.
EDIT: Actually, after reading the ad, it's pretty clear that it's through Wednesday.

This same ad here in Southern California is for The Wherehouse. I know they are the same company as FYE. Does the Wherehouse even have any stores left in the east coast?

Thanks for the warning, guys. I decided to wait until tomorrow to venture off to the mall. I'll definitely take a print out of their ad and see if I can get them to honor the sale.

I was planning on picking up the X-Men Trilogy, but decided otherwise after reading that they were basically the one-disc versions of the movies. FYE normally has the 1-disc versions of X1 & X2 for $5 AR. I'm sure X3 will be a part of their $5 AR sale sometime next year.

no go at the 2 Queens NYC locations (Jackson Heights & Astoria). I didn't go to the stores but I called and they said that there was no flyer and that it scanned at $49.99.
The Manhattan stores usually don't participate in these sales.

according to the OP there is no MIR necessary. However, no luck with anyone so far. I work at the local mall so will swing by there tomorrow at some point and will post tomorrow evening on my findings.

The deal only applies to stand alone stores, so none of the mall stores are participating. On the back of the circular should be addresses to the locations that should be honoring the sale. At least that's the line I got this morning.
Better off just taking the ad someplace else and pricematching.
