Comparison pics of all 3 next-gen consoles
I found these pics on Gametrailers.com:
The Wii sure is wee. I find it ironic that the PS3 is slightly bigger than the 360. I bet all the people that complained about the original Xbox being so big won't notice and/or complain at all though.

I love my 360 but I really am intrigued by the Wii. Too often I end up playing a game while the kids watch or I let them play and they need me to do everything for them. The kind of "pick up and play" games Nintendo is known for would be perfect for when the kids are awake. Not to mention, the games and the controller look fun. I know I just hooked up the Live Vision camera and the kids and I played Totemball and they loved it. So having the new controllers would be a lot of fun for them and me.
Like I just said in another thread too, I am really considering picking up a PS3 either next year or when the price drops since it looks like you can put whatever HDD you want in it and install other OSes. This machine might become more of a Linux HTPC than a game console to some of us. Personally, unless the game was exclusive to PS3 or really, really special I would prefer to play on the 360 for a few reasons. That said, the PS3 could still be a great little HTPC and lots of fun in it's own way.

Definitely on the Wii. I find that some nights I want to game, yet don't want to get involved in such games like Gears or Dead Rising that take a lot of time investment. I just want a quick pick up and play game. So sometimes the arcade suffices and other times I hit up the DS. So I can't wait for the Wii to fill that void(Zelda's 70 hour quest aside of course).

I'll be goin' Wii60. Games like Gears of War and Assassin's Creed look freakin' sweet. But I've always been a Nintendo fan, and still am. It's also a plus that they match in color, though the PS3 looks way slick...

Damn, the Wii is HUGE!!
I like the look of the 360 best, but I appreciate how small the Wii is. The Cube was quite small, but it's thickness made it hard to place in my entertainment center. Don't see that being a problem with the Wii.
The PS3 is fugly.

I was in WalMart the other day and they had a PS3 set up vertically in a display case. I never realized how big it actually was. Whereas nearby was an Ebgames that has a Wii kiosk and yeah, it is about the same size as a few dvd cases.
Anyways, 360 now, Wii a little later, PS3 probably not.

Last generation Sony had the best looking machine, and then they improved with the slim case. This generation looks are owned by M$, with Nintendo coming in a close second. It seems like Sony wanted to see what having the biggest, ugliest console was like. Didn't Sony bag on M$ for having such a big console last generation?

I can't stand the looks of the PS3. Good thing it has pretty looking games.

For some reason the PS3 reminds me of the original Sega Master System. It looks like the 80s-version of futuristic... sorta like K.I.T.T.
The Wii looks like an external CD-ROM drive.
The 360 looks like some sort of Bose radio crossed with an air purifier.

Thankfully I found a different version of what I was looking for in matte black.

Blu-ray Bloo-tech Bloo Cathode Ray guns for richer and darker Blues, and an 8-track input for the ultimate in old school Backwards compatibilty.
The Wii is "cute" but unnecessarily small to me.

You don't need much when you're powered by Mushrooms and day old wasabi paste.
