Best Buy Question
Hi everyone,
I am considering buying the Hitachi 51'' HDTV. I think the price may go down duirng the thanksgiving week. I however live in a small town where there is no bestbuy. The TV is for my girlfriend, and I am going to ask her to purchase it. My question is can she pay for it during the thanksgiving week to bestbuy and ask if she can pick it up later. I will be visiting her during the chrismas break and I want to go and pick up the TV. She is not good with these things and I want to be there when the TV comes so if there is anything wrong I can replace it. I know she does not want to get in all the problems of replacing and all that. So can She pay now and ask them to keep it till december and we can pick it up 20 or 30 days later.

I don't think it'll work the way you want it to. When they sell you something they want it out of their store ASAP and the return period starts from when you accept the purchase transaction. Call them and ask how long they'll hold your purchase.
