Spoiler:
According to Ron Moore in an interview, I believe the virus comes from a probe or beacon from the 13th colony that the cylons retrieve.

They said that once the hybrid was infected, it spread to all of the centurians and raiders alike.

the excessive piano music was extremely distracting.

that's my only complaint.

The probe that the base ship recovered looks very much like Nomad from the Orginal Star Trek 2.3 It could simply be a salute to the series

another great episode. answered some questions like why only 7 cylons vote. did I miss it when they said how much time passed, it has to be months for it to be believable about lee.

Good episode

The story with the virus and how it affects the base ship and everything was interesting. Baltar is in deep shit again if Six rats him out for not telling them about the probe.

Shpuld be interesting to see if and how the ycure Sharon now that she has it.

Didn't really care for the stuff on Galactica until Adama went down to confront Tigh and Starbuck at the end.

If I was a Hybrid, I think I'd spend all damn day jumping. That looked completely orgasmic.

For some reason, I really liked this episode. I loved seeing more about the Cylon world. I wonder why we "don't talk about the other 5"? I'm thinking it is just as simple as they haven't been exposed in the Human world yet and not that they're to be forgotten or anything like that.

I'm thinking that there has been a civil war of sorts, with seven models wanting to "spread god's word" to the humans, and the other five wanting to leave them alone. The other five would be unknown, as they would have little reason to infiltrate humanity or occupy New Caprica.

But no more cylon surprises would be no fun, so I'm sure it's more complicated than that.

This episode kind of evoked a Robotech-esque feel. Anyone else see it?

Glad that they got the question of Baltar possibly being a cylon out into the open, though if he wore a suit to protect himself, why couldn't one of the human cylons also?

Maybe I missed something, but it didn't seem obvious to me that Sharon has it? She was in a raptor, she had a suit on, and she never boarded the base ship.

Also didn't understand how resurrection would bring the "virus" back with them. Or was that just being posed as a possible risk?

too fast. unless they figure out a way to speed up metabolism in the future, losing that much weight should take a few months.

Great episode. And was it just me or did walking around the hallways of the cylon baseship seem like trampling through a final fantasy dungeon?

Exodus(Part 2) had a Robotech feel to it when Galactica jumped into the atmosphere...kinda reminded me of the SDF-1. How did this episode have a Robotech feel to it? God, it's been a looooong time since I've watched that series so some of it I don't remember.

As Setzer pointed out, the Galactica atmo jump really gave me a Robotech flashback. Not so sure about this one, but I certainly liked it nonetheless. I'm starting to feel that Baltar may not be a Cylon, but when the nuke went off near his home in the miniseries, I read a theory that the Six's psychological engrams got imprinted on Baltar somehow. Though that seems a little too much like Treknobabble. Far more likely that he's just nuts.

I definitely got the impression that Athena was infected there at the end.
