Just part of the series. Theres 15 episodes on each set. With 5 sets in all, only 1 set out so far. Theres around 60 something episodes all together in the series.

Is Collection 2 going to be available in a tin as well? No mention of it is made on Amazon or elsewhere.

All of the series will be available in LE tins. If you want a tin, you need to get the first run, as Media Blasters won't be reprinting them in the tins, and the next printings will be episodes only.

This tin is Yellow. That completes the legs. I would imagine red / green arm for the next one (Keith's black lion being the final release).

UPDATE: This is from another poster at FW. Not sure how reliable the info is, but given what others here have said, it seems legit:

"For those who are curious, apparently, EIGHT DVD sets are slated for eventual release. This set is volume 1. Volume 2 is scheduled for a Nov21st release. The first 5 volumes are reportedly Lion Team, and the latter 3 volumes are reportedly Vehicle Team."

OMG. PWNED. That's very cool, although the vehicle team, while a cool toy, did not make for that good of a TV show. Was there ever an American version of it?

okay this may seem a strange question I just placed my order and i saw that instead of the order being "sold BY AMAZON" as it usually states in the sold field all my orders are now showing "Sold by: Amazon Export Sales, Inc. "

just thought that was strange...

anyway glad i held out and didn't buy this before now i can both sets for a great price thanks oop...

Thanks OP!

However, it should be mentioned that there is no benefit in ordering both besides super saver shipping. I just ordered Blue. Yellow will be cheaper at DDD 20%.

I dislike Amazon.

have a question about these tins. is it worth to capatilize on this deal now with the LE tins or wait until the entire series is released in one set? and how do these sets factor in with hd-dvd? guess i just want to know if its worth it now should we wait.

I don't know about the future of Voltron on HD, but considering how long it took to get on regular DVD, I wouldn't expect it for a long time.

Additionally, HD wouldn't really benefit Voltron very much, being animation (assuming they remastered it in a high resolution), and in addition it would change how it was originally viewed on TV. I would actually prefer original broadcast resolution, as it was intended.
