Smoking Aces trailer (from the director of Narc)
Smoking Aces
Joe Carnahan's latest feature film with a huge cast. I think it looks amazing. Lets hope its not so Guy Ritchie for its own good.

Looks more like a Tony Scott movie than what I would expect from the director of Narc. I want another movie that I can take seriously, but it looks like this will be more fun than serious.

But whatever, this could either be amazing or awful. I'm hoping for the former.

At first it looked like a bad cross between Jackie Brown and Ocean's 11. Then it took a turn for the worse. I hope this is good. One of my favorite movies, (Snatch.) seemed like this at first.
I really hope this is good, since this guy is tackling two projects I'd love to be done well: White Jazz and Killing Pablo.
I liked Narc but for some reason have never been able to finish it (always outside interruptions).

I'm really looking forword to this! a couple of the Uk magazines gave this 3/5. Which to me means it's not terrible.
I think it will be a laugh and nothing else.

I first heard of this movie cause I'm a big Ryan Reynolds fan. So I always wanted to see it just cause he was in it. Then the trailers started coming out and all in all, the movie just looks so packed with action that it's alomst impossible to be bad.

I feel like it will be one of those flicks that gets pretty bad reviews but I will enjoy a lot. Hopefully it gets good reviews and I enjoy it a lot though. Been wanting to see this since I first saw the preview.

Saw this Monday, really enjoyed it. Pretty funny in places, fairly violent in others. No huge action scenes, more smaller ones but everyone in it is very good. I point out Reynolds as extremely good (even though he has to play it straight) and I think Jason Bateman is excellent in a small cameo that TBH didn't really need to be there.
Watch it, enjoy it and join me waiting for the HD-DVD.
