Deep Discount Preorders.
I recently preordered a box set with DDD that is to be released on Oct. 31st. And was wondering how they handle their preorders. When do they usually ship them out?

They used to ship when they got them but now it seems they wait until just before the release date. I once got a pre-order almost a month before the release date and several times a week or few days before the release.

With DDD it could go either way. I've had times where I got the item 2 weeks early, and I've had a few where I got the item a few weeks after the release date. I guess it's potluck...
