Xbox.com/XBox Live Downtime/Changes

Ugh.

So they took both of them down for about 24 hours, promising "exciting new things". If you read XBox.com, there's all this "Gaming For Kids" and "Family Zone" crap up now.

Joy.

Yep. Forums are still down too.

All of this crap wouldn't be necessary if parents would, you know, actually be parents. I hate this type of thing...it's going to ruin it for the rest of us.

I have a feeling the forums are going to be completely different.

They even added a new columnist...."Gamer Dad".

It's all back up now. I haven't really noticed any changes except for game pictures on the recent players list.

Xbox.com still won't let me sign in. It puts me in a loop.

Are you using Firefox? It's doing the same to me. If I use IE, I can get in.

I'm using IE. I've tried signing in, signing up and viewing my profile and it keeps telling me "sorry". Damn straight it's sorry.
