Only $19.05 at DDD... with 4 discs, I'm tempted to get it at that price.

Additional Release Material:
Featurettes 1. A Tribute to Gene Rayburn
2. Best Momemts of Match Game
3. Original Pilot (1962)
Production Interview - Brett Somers - Guest Star

Sweet Lord. I never thought a product like this would exist and I'm a little embarrased to admit it, but... I'm totally buying this.

In my experience, most of their earlier releases (years ago) were poor. But lately, they've been putting out some really well done stuff. The Flash Gordon animated series leaps to mind as a great set, and I know they've done some other things as well (animated and otherwise).

The picture quality may be iffy (and it probably would be no matter who put this out), but I suspect the whole package will be put together nicely with some great extras.

They need to package that set with a skinny mic.

I noticed the same thing...funny, since Match Game made Dawson a star (sorry, Hogan Heroes & Diana Dors fans) and his appearances on this show got him the hosting job on Family Feud. Any bets it has something to do with Richard's "lack-of-cooperation" with the producers of this set?

It's more likely that when people think of Match Game, they think of Charles Nelson Riley and Brett Summers. Those are the two that pop immediately into my head. Of course, if you're looking for an angle, you could say they were racist for not putting Nipsey Russell on the cover.

Or red-a-phobic, due to the absence of Fanny Flagg!

MATCH GAME = BEST GAME SHOW EVER!

I love it, watch it everyday on GSN. Defnitely getting this dvd. Gene was the best host on any show.

It's still up for pre-order at DDD, and about $12 cheaper to boot.

BTW, TVShowsOnDVD.com has now posted a news item about the set.

Richard is on the back with Betty White.

I really only had room for 3 good size pictures on the front. Gene was a given, and I just couldn't separate Brett and Charles.

She's on the top spine in her red and yellow "Superman" shirt.

Match Game is the greatest. My girlfriend and I watch it constantly. I'll definitely be picking this up.
