For the record, the DVDs I bought from her came without a hitch.

i'm just a little concerned because i had purchased 6 movies about a month ago & she told me she ships all at once, but after 2-3 weeks i sent a few emails to follow up & got no response. Then i saw a new listing of other stuff for sale and i was just "hoping" it got lost in the junkmail folder.

I would have done this earlier but i figured i'd give the benefit of the doubt (maybe customs problems? who knows?) but i received my package from someone else today that i purchased last week (over boarders)

Well that is concerning. Hopefully she mailed airmail and not ground, but it's been a month. You can always e-mail Mao the moderator and he'll try and get in contact with her.

I bought something and have not received it yet either. payment date was about 15 days ago. however, she did respond to my mail and let me know its on the way. she said that she is in the middle of a move, so that probably has something to do with it.

I spent around $100 buying from this member and got my DVDs within 3 days. I bought more DVDs yesterday from them for $50. I know that no one is badmouthing them, but I thought I'd speak up and say that this is a trustworthy trader.

I also bought from Cinemaddiction, received the DVD's about 2-3 days after in perfect condition. I do believe she was getting rid of all of them do to her move, that could definitely be a factor. Definitely a great trader though, would buy from again without second thoughts.

Well, all Canadian packages would have to have a customs sticker on it, and there is a good chance that they got caught in customs, which can add a couple of weeks. If packages are marked as a gift, they can have a value of $60 Canadian without getting taxed. For packages marked as merchandise, it gets taxed at $20 Canadian. The 14% tax gets applied to the Canadian value of the package, plus a $5 handling fee.

I've traded probably over 95% of my 400 DVD trades with people from the US, and I've only had my packages held in customs a couple of times, but it definitely can add time to the transaction. Hope that is all that happened this time.

Sorry about that, Kris. Apparently all your e-mails have been going directly to my junk e-mail box, which is dumped ever so often automatically. I'm unable to contact you via the forums, given your e-mail is unavailable, and I apparently don't have the credentials to sent a PM? I have a couple of Canadian orders that have yet to ship. I'm handling all my old and new orders as we speak, having just gotten settled into the new apartment, and resolving my internet connectivity issue (Comcast). I apologize for the delay, and rest assured everyone's items are being tended to. There's just been a lot of commotion in my household as of late. The likes of which I don't feel the need, or inclination to expand upon other than it's being "dealt with".

Thanks for your patience and understanding.
