Skits or interludes you actually like?

Perhaps the worst thing about hip-hop albums is their tendency to rely on "skits" acting as filler. While it's not universal, they're there often enough that it gets extremely annoying (especially when the skits are tacked on the end of a song instead of being their own track, ruining any mixtape you put this song on).

Other music, for the most part, eschews this trend, but it pops up here and there.

But... are there actually skits or interludes you actually like?

One of my favorite rap songs is Method Man's "Shaolin What" which the album has a skit but is just Method Man rapping for about two minutes, his boasts floating over a haunted, skittering piano.

The only album where the skits work as a whole is the soundtrack to Blue in the Face. Comedian Danny Hock impersonates a lot of Brooklynn stereotypes and it helps stabilize an album where the songs are all over the place (Soul Coughing, David Byrne, Geggy Tah, some salsa).

The Chinese guy on the Fugees The Score

A skit on a Redman album where they stole a news van :lol

Dr. Dre The Chronic $20 Sack Pyramid

A skit by Ludacris where white people were rapping his songs off beat
everything else I skip over. I hate hip hop skits.

Tenacious D get's my vote.

Some of my favorite lines:

"Junior Western Bacon Chee! I'm trying to watch my figure!"

"You sit in your tower! Always naysaying! Everything I create! You piece of shit!"

"F+ Click!"

How about the Big Chief Toilet Paper stuff from BG and Juvenile's late 90's albums...that was some funny, albeit straight ghetto shit.

I never feel the urge to skip the ones on Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf. They're not brilliant, but I don't find them annoying as I usually do.

TLC's where Chilly is acting all sexy and asks the dude to pass her some tissue so she can wipe her ass.

Redman makes some funny ones like The People's Court one where the plaintiff is someone named DeShaunas Brown or something and proudly proclames she sucked someone's dick while the defendent says she doesn't suck dick and therefor looses her case.

Dr. Dre had one where some guy is having sex with some women and one of them screams "It's in my eye!" or something to that effect.

A Prince Among Thieves by Prince Paul , the whole album is a skit, yes it's a gimmick, but it works to perfection... I love this album. Ugly duckling's Taste the Secret works too, not as good, but it works.

I don't know if you'd qualify Shogun Assasin in Liquid swords as a skit, but the intro kills! OH and just to add, how about the skits from the 36 Chambers....

"Yo, ghost ! Where my killah tape at?"
"Is he dead?" What do you mean is he dead?
"Torture M#$%^&^*&"

I like the old horror/exploitation movie samples that are between tracks on White Zombie/Rob Zombie albums. They really add to the tone of the albums.

Primus does a few I like. I don't know the names off the top of my head though.

I also like the Offspring ones on "Smash"

Tool, on the other hand, does some very annoying noise things on their albums.

I laugh everytime I hear Eminem go "who's Violet Brown" in one of his skits.

Not hip/hop but a comedy album of songs, on Stephen Lynch's 'Little bit Special', he has skits on there with Jay Mohr.
Mohr doing Christopher Walken talking about Gerbils was pretty funny.
