Here's the link: http://f.chtah.com/i/9/276579820/coupon40601005.htm .

The key, as always, is to use it for stuff already on sale. So one might, for example, pick up 3 recent releases that are typically $19.99 (MSRP $30) and drop them down to $15 apiece.

Also note that it's combinable with personal shopping days.

Another idea would be the two new Bogie collections (MSRP $60 per) they have for $40; this deal would drop each to $32.50 plus tax, better even than Costco!

anytime i've tried to use one of these coupons with an item that has a SALE sticker on it (usually a borders blue sticker that says SALE), i'm told they can honor the coupon OR the the sale price, but not both. this has happened twice to me.
perhaps i'm near a borders where they are told this is store policy and the staff is educated.

My experience has been that the %-off coupons will not combine with sale prices but the $-off coupons will, and it was a function of the sales system and not an individual sales person.

makes sense. i tried this with 30% off coupons- maybe that's why and would be consistent with your explanation.
perhaps i'll try this coupon and see. thanks for the clarification.

Yes - the %off coupons almost always say they are off the full list price. The $off coupons usually don't, and I've used them on sale items in the past.

Being an ex-Borders employee, what elektrohog and others have stated is true.

Being a *current* Borders employee known for knowing this system all too well (I make every possible use of it I can)--let me also affirm:
%off *cannot* be combined (except with personal shopping days)
$off CAN be combined with sale prices and personal shopping days (but not other coupons).

Different coupon $10 off $35

Sorry, had this coupon for awhile and forgot about it. e-Rewards emailed me the link mid September. While looking for coupons to use with the Bogie collection DVDs I remembered I had it.
Used it yesterday (Wed.) to buy the Bogart Collection Vol. II
Total with 7.9% tax $32.38

I did have to use my rewards membership. No big deal.

If you are in DC and want the Maltese Falcon, let's get together and use the $10 off $35 and get the sets for $15 each. E-mail me.
