NIRVANA: Live! Tonight! Sold Out! DVD -11/7/06
The Nirvana concert film Live! Tonight! Sold Out! will make its DVD debut on November 7th from Geffen Records. Previously released on VHS and laserdisc, the home video compilation was conceived by Kurt Cobain as a way to anthologize Nirvana's quick ascent to rock superstardom. The project was completed by surviving band mates Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic after Cobain's 1994 suicide. Color-corrected and digitally remastered for the DVD, the program features live footage from the band's 1991-92 "Nevermind" concert tour highlighted by versions of "Smells Like Teen Spirit," "About a Girl," "Come As You Are," "Territorial Pissings," "Something in the Way," "Lithium," "Sliver," "Breed," "Drain You," "Dive" and "Aneurysm." The disc will also include previously unreleased bonus performances.

this is a start...
they also need to release MTV Unpugged, Seattle Halloween '91 concert and some kind of 2 disc with all videos, MTV performances, interviews, etc.
then all of Nirvana's albums remasterd!

Holiday 2004: With The Lights Out
Holiday 2002: Nirvana comp
sure, there was nothing in '03 but the last three Nirvana releases were released during the Holiday season. The Nirvana Machine is starting to look like LucasFilm: they've gotta have something out every year for the Holiday season.

Yep... another music VHS that can be retired.
That still leaves: "Decline of the Western Civilization 2 The Metal Years", "Perry Farrell: The Gift," "Danzig" and "Danzig II," "Iron Maiden Live After Death," and "Iron Maiden Ten (or Twelve?) Wasted Years" in my collection.

Here's an interesting article about Kurt Cobain surpassing Elvis Presley on Forbes list of top-earning dead celebrities.
