This came out last week courtesy of Alliance Atlantis. The title obviously refers to Maurice "The Rocket" Richard, not only one of the best players to ever play the game, but someone who played with such passion and fire that he became one of those rare athletes in history who transdended their sport to become the symbol of the struggle and aspirations of his people (the french canadians). Roy Dupuis is excellent in the title role (he had previously played The Rocket in a tv mini-series) and a number of active and ex-NHL players participated including Vincent Lecavalier (as Jean Beliveau!), Mike Ricci, Stephane Quintal, and Ian Laperriere. If you liked Cinderella Man, you'll enjoy this film.
