"Backdraft" (15th Anniversary) recalled?
I just heard somewhere (don't remember where, maybe Access Hollywood) that the new 2-disc set is being recalled because of some disparaging comments by Brian Grazer about fire fighters. (He wanted it editted out)
That is why so many retailers don't have many copies and some online places are sold out.

I can just seem some collectors now say, "oooh, I've got to get a dozen copies where Brian Grazer makes disparaging remarks about firefighters so I can get it on ebay and call it a rare edition and never available again."

I've seen the bonus material, and I'm not aware of any comments by Grazer that might be seen as "disparaging". Then again, I wasn't listening for something like that, but nothing stood out as far as I can remember.

I was kinda wondering why the Best Buy I went to barely had any. When I saw the title to this thread, I thought there was an issue with the transfer.

Just a rumor, my local Wal-Mart had all the copys out and Target had them out as well. I see no need for a recall based on disparaging comments unless legal action has been taken by Brian Grazer himself because he wanted it edited out.

It's their recent 2-disc Limited Editions (Cinderella Man, Jarhead, Munich, and United 93) that go OOP before they even release. They're next to impossible to find in store and unless you order online a few weeks in advance you can't find it.
